Nicholas G. Smith is currently the head assistant men’s basketball coach at Regis College in Weston, Ma. Smith also served as the head varsity boys coach at Narragansett Regional High School in Baldwinville, Ma from 2006-2008, as well as the girl’s junior varsity head coach at Hudson High School in 2002-03. For the past seven summers, Smith has been a staff member of the Jim Calhoun Basketball Camp in Storrs, Conn., as well as founding the Professor Hoops Basketball Academy and coaching at the Holy Cross Basketball Camp each of the past two summers.

In 2003 Smith captured the Hoop It Up New York City 3-on-3 championship then played collegiately at Fitchburg State College from 2004-2006, earning all-tournament honors at The Ken Wright ’52 Invitational at Amherst College in 2005. Smith averaged 9.6 points during his career while pulling down 7.4 rebounds in 49 games with the Falcons. Smith owns a Bachelor of Science (’08) in Business Administration from Fitchburg State. Smith, a native of Fitchburg, Mass., is employed by Natural Body Alignment located in Hamden, CT.
