An African-American male was born and raised in Bangor, Maine Kaleem attended Bangor High School graduating with the class of 95. While in school Kaleem was a three year letterman for the Rams football team and prided himself as a person who could hang out with anyone or anybody. During his freshman year Kaleem got his first taste of event planning by developing a Two on Two basketball tournament titled “The Gardner Tournament”. “Without even knowing it Mrs. Gardner was one of the most influential people in my life. She allowed the whole neighborhood come to her house to swim and play basketball. Without Mrs. G’s who knows where I would be today”.
Following high school Kaleem attended Bridgeton Academy before attending Worcester State College. While in college Kaleem was a three year letterman in football for the Lancers, had his first son “Demitrius”, founded Concerts4Charity and graduated with a B.S. in Health Studies.
Currently Mr. Clarkson is the National Director for Concerts4Charity and is attending Kennesaw State University pursing his masters degree in Nonprofit Management.
