DiCaprio hoards cash for charity
Leonardo DiCaprio is stockpiling his money so he can make huge charity donations in the next 20 years.
The 'Titanic' star - who plays billionaire philanthropist Howard Hughes in forthcoming movie 'The Aviator' - has admitted he is saving up his cash so he can help a string of organizations in the near future.
He is quoted by Britain's Daily Express as saying: "I want to accumulate enough money so that one day I can do something really great for other people, for the environment or for children. That's my ultimate goal - 20 or 30 years from now I won't be doing things for selfish reasons but to really give back."
The Hollywood actor, who earns a reported $20 million per film, also claims he leads a frugal lifestyle in order to maximize the amount of money he can give away
He explained: "I don't pay lavish expenses. I don't fly private jets. I still only have one car. I don't spend money on a lot - other than homes.
"Right now I do a lot of work for Los Angeles Children's Hospital, for kids terminally ill with cancer and I do a lot of environmental work - that's a cause very close to my heart
